The business combines a modern, fully automated processing environment with orthodox methods of tea manufacture. Working from the Kitulgala area of the Kalani Valley as a low-grown tea factory, the plant operates under the registered selling mark MF 1528 and markets its teas through recognised Colombo tea brokers — connecting Misa Tea with Sri Lanka's established auction and export-oriented tea trade.
